We are currently looking for a Galileo Ground Segment Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Galileo Ground Segment Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Maintain Ground Operations Products Prepare and execute Ground Segment Operations Prepare and execute Ground Segment Validation Support to identify Ground anomaly and assist with the investigation Assist to interface with the for remote sites support which interact with the GCS Provide supplementary support to Shift Lead and Special Operations as required where additional Ground support is required Assist with the planning and Coordination of GCS Maintenance Upgrades Provide support for the progressive automation of Constellation Operations Take over duty oncall to provide Ground Operations Support 247 Provide detailed reporting on the Galileo Control Segment statusissuesschedule Provide Engineer Support to assess Galileo Control Segment enhancementsmodifications Monitor system performance and trigger corrective actions if necessary Support deliveries for project milestones Preparation and participation of SCTCs and Simulations. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in ground operations preparation and execution Good knowledge and experience using Linux Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
