The Market Development Officer will be responsible for market analysis and other market development activities. The tasks for the assigned market segments may include the following Plan downstream market entry actions aimed at EGNSS adoption Monitor the market to understand attractiveness, trends, user needs, industry value chain, competing and complementary technology Analyse user needs and translate them into user requirements, performing ad hoc market research and coordinating of user and stakeholder communities Evaluate the EGNSS value proposition and identify key differentiators for the users Define the downstream market entry strategy actions for the assigned market segments Develop the market segment communication strategy in line with the value proposition, in cooperation with Communication Department Cooperate with the value chain e.g. receiver manufacturers, application developers, service providers. Manage interface with receiver and chipset manufacturers to integrate EGNSS in their products, collect user requirements and ensure adoption Identify and develop partnerships with key players in the value chain Define priority actions andmonitor Key Performance Indicators of EGNSS adoption actions and policy initiatives Manage projects and studies, involving internal teams andor contractors, including the definition of the scope of work, preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of bids, negotiation of contracts and ensuring successful execution of related actions Promote and manage excellence centres focused on specific market segments, in partnership with local agents, fostering public and private investment in EGNSS applications. Implement actions aimed at EGNSS adoption Implement market development actions, giving highest priority to those most leveraging EGNSS differentiators for the users Perform feasibility and cost analysis in cooperation with technical interfaces Analyse results of application market user tests Act as the entry point for key market stakeholders in each market segment Ensure user assistance and informationCRM for EGNSS services Monitor user satisfaction, performing surveys for EGNSS services Foster application development managing applications RD within EC RD programme e.g. FP7 and Horizon 2020 Contribute to the preparation of calls for proposals and the selection of projects Manage projects and perform technical monitoring and appraisal of results Manage reporting on projects status and identify suggested actions Ensure widest awareness and disseminate project results Support application developers and service providers, willing to invest in Galileo and EGNOS applications and services, with special focus on SMEs Contribute to the overall GSA processes such as quality management and reporting. Furthermore, the Market Development Officer will also contribute to other tasks of the Market Development Department as deemed necessary.
