We are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Areas of responsibility will mainly consist of performing andor assisting the ESAESTEC Mechanical Engineer in the following activities Reviewing, coordinating and monitoring all activities related to the construction, renovation or modification of mechanical installations Ensuring the mechanical installations compliance to the applicable norms and legislations performed by the site contractor Assisting the ESTEC Project Managers in the multidisciplinary projects where works on mechanical installations are involved Assisting Site Acceptance Tests after construction, renovation or modification of mechanical installations Preparing technical work descriptions for small and medium projects related to mechanical installations on site Controlling, monitoring and reviewing by means of key performance indicators the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities which are outsourced to an external company on ESTEC mechanical installations Implementation and maintenance of service and quality assurance procedures Studying mechanical installations and preparing improvement plans including energy reduction proposals Liaising, closely cooperating and maintaining a sound working relationship with colleagues within the section, in or outside Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience At least a HBOBachelor degree in mechanical engineering At least 5 years experience in building infrastructure and facility management with mechanical engineering as an area of expertise A proven capability of maintenance management and engineering in the above areas of responsibility Good knowledge of the applicable norms and legislation Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
