GENERAL ENVIRONMENT Part of the Eiffage Group 70 000p, 18b, which is a key player on Ground Segment for Aeronautics Space in Europe, Clemessy Netherlands BV is a Services Center that has been recently created to provide Maintenance Engineering Support to our main customers Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering RAMS ILS and AITOperations Support. For our customer, the European Space Agency ESA, we are currently looking for an OnBoard Computer Data Systems Engineer to work at ESTEC, the ESA Technical Center in Noordwijk NL. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In the TECEDD section, the main tasks are to provide ESA with functional support in the field of OnBoard Computer Data Systems Engineering covering the Platform and payload data handling architectures and their building blocks Equipment, Onboard computers, key components, signal processing electronics, Frontend acquisition, security, encryption, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The assignment is to provide expert technical support for the design and procurement of the G2B spacecraft Galileo 2nd Generation satellite Avionics subsystems including Data Handling Subsystem DHS, Attitude and Orbit Control Systems AOCS and Electrical Propulsion Subsystem EPS Feasibility studies, project reviews, procurement proposals evaluation Monitoring the industrial work associated with design, development, validation, qualification and acceptance of DHS, AOCS and EPS Monitoring the activities related to satellite verification programme Participating in Agency project reviews and lowerlevel reviews Regular reporting to the Satellite Platform Manager, cooperation with G2B Sat Engineers and coordination with other G2B functions. SPECIFIC COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS High degree organizational and communication abilities. Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should have A Masters degree or PhD in Electronics, networks, telecommunications or equivalent A Space Hardware Expertise related to Platform and DHS would be important asset Additional assets are knowledge in Avionics EGSE, in AOCS and in EPS The working language is English, and French would be appreciated.
