Position Reference 019 RHEA is currently recruiting a Service Performance Engineer for our client based in Prague, CZ. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Specify and monitor the Key Performance Indicators KPIs applicable to the Galileo Service Operator GSOp and SAR and CS service providers more precisely Collect the input data and KPI reports from the different entities GSOp, service providers, independent monitoring from the GRC, analyse and compile the data into a consolidated monthly performance report for the Programme, and a quarterly public performance report Drive relevant updates to the KPIs coming from the actual measured KPIs, the deployment of new services or features of the system including constellation evolutions and the update of the operational concepts in place Carry out a routine signal performance watch and support the identification of service performance degradations in anticipation of the KPI reporting process, and in coordination with the GRC and other external sources Analyse the identified service performance degradations in order to assess the origins of the problem and propose recommendations for corrective measures in liaison with the Service Provision team and the performance experts of the stakeholders Contribute to the design of the Galileo Services, of their extensions and of their evolutions, including the CS and the SoL work plans and the next generation of Galileo Define future Galileo performance levels, ensuring coordination with other GNSS Service Providers Conduct technical performance assessments related to frequencies, interoperability, compatibility and service level commitments with other systems Derive lessons learned and propose risk mitigation actions from the routine evaluation of the service provision performance Contribute to the Service Requirements and Service Definition Documents and other Service Design documentation e.g. Validation plans, regarding performance aspects Support the Service Managers for addressing queries from user communities, related to Galileo service performance Support the relevant Galileo Program Boards, reviews and anomaly boards regarding performance aspects Ensure the availability of inhouse performance expertise and coordinate specific performance support resources RHEA, WP1x Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Masters Degree in the relevant discipline. You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience. You have experience with Signal performance analysis. You have experience with Matlab modeling tools, and preferably knowledge of other tools such as Fortran and C. You have experience with processinganalysis of raw navigation data. You have worked with Navigation Algorithm before. At least level C1 in English understanding, writing and speaking. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
