The CAM Space department supports the Galileo project since the year 2000 and has a very strong presence of engineers at the Galileo Control Centre near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen. We are now reinforcing our team in the Munich area. We are looking for you as SPACECRAFT OPERATIONS ENGINEER MF Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in an outstanding project in the area of space segment? This could be your field of responsibility Writing of procedures, in particular preparation, validation, testing of Flight Operations Procedures and subsequent result reporting Adapt procedures to new databases and procedures delivered by industry Define validation scenarios Preparation of and participation in SVTs and simulations Test and validation of operational items like Galileo Constellation simulator, Avionic software, Operational Database, Constellation Control Facility, MOIS. Participation in and provision of training e.g. operations concepts, spacecraft subsystems, operations tools Anomaly Reports handling writing, action processing, support of review boards Operations Support Support of routine, special and contingency operations during nominal operations platform commissioning, InOrbitTest including provision of shift and oncall support Provision of oncall service for specific subsystems during routine phase Offline analysis of the subsystem performance. Your profile requires Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline A minimum of 3 years of experience in space projects Experience in satellite operations is mandatory i.e. in the preparation, validation and execution of operations related to data handling, Payload or spacecraft subsystems Knowledge of at least one of the satellite subsystems Good level of spoken and written English Good communication skills Good analytical skills and high flexibility Team player and stress resilient.
