DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Henri was located near latitude 31.3 North, longitude 60.7 West. Henri is moving toward the north near 5 mph (7 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue with an increase in forward speed Thursday and Thursday night. On the forecast track, the center will pass well east of Bermuda early Thursday. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 125 miles (205 km) to the east of the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
