We are looking for a Spacecraft Operation Preparation Engineer The key person will join our customers EPSSG Operation Preparation Intergated Team. SheHe will be involved in all the operation preparation phases, and all related validation of the operational scenarios including Launch and InOrbit System Validation of the first pair of EPSSG satellites. Responsibility The key person will contribute to the following activities list not exhaustive Ops Prep development phase Ops Prep operations validation phase and team training Ops Prep engineering tasks to support Ground and Space Segments procurement and System teams Administrate and maintain the MetopSG simulators SATSIM in operational condition Definition of use cases for the Ground Segment functions and list of data sets needed for CalVal and SDQAR Science Data Quality Analysis and Reporting purposes. etc Profile Mandatory skills University degree or equivalent in experience in a relevant discipline Experience of Spacecraft Operations and or Operation Preparation preferably on Low Earth Orbit LEO, with responsibility for one or more platform subsystems or instruments during operational validation, LEOP, commissioning or routine operations phases Experience in Satellite Databases. In particular, this shall include experience in the processes involved in developing and validating an operation database from a reference database delivered by the satellite manufacturer, and also experience in the use of scripting and SQL to implement changes and checks as efficiently and reliably as possible Experience with OBSW maintenance activities, in particular memory image maintenance and Configuration Management CM processes for both ground images and onboard memory management Experience in definition, development and validation of operations for the development of satellite ground segment facilities such as monitor and control, mission planning, onboard software management, ground stations monitoring Experience as simulation officer, satellite simulator management, coordination of rehearsals and team readiness assessment for launch Experience of SCOS2000 mission control systems and use of the APEX operations procedures preparation and execution tool Experience in the full cycle of development of application software for satellite simulators, following formal software engineering processes. This includes system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design and implementation reflecting maintenance activities as well as new applications definition Experience in satellite performance monitoring and reporting aspects including anomaly analysis and solving in liaison with satellite industry, procedure change control and configuration management processes Experience in requirementsbased design, development and verification process following the ECSS standards and using DOORS. G2G Spacecraft Operations Engineer

Position Reference 071 You will have the opportunity to support the definition of the System Operations concepts and requirements for the next generation of Galileo, through active interfacing with System and Segments design experts, to ensure that the system functionalities and performances fulfil the mission objectives of the new Galileo generation. Within the Meteosat Spacecraft Operations team of the Flight Operations FLO Division, the Meteosat Spacecraft Operations Engineer will support the operations preparation and operations of the future Meteosat Third Generation MTG satellites and routine operations of Meteosat Second Generation MSG satellites.
