EPSSG System IVV engineer

RHEA Group is currently looking for an IVV engineer for the EPSSG. You will have the possibility to integrate a team of engineers which will provide support for the overall system and ground segment IVV activities, and sharing the tasks related to the EPSSG. This position is based in our clients premises in Darmstadt Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Create and maintain the IVV system test plan, test specification and test procedures. Support to the preparation and execution of the testing, integration and acceptance of procured elements, in coordination with external entities tests. For all relevant test activities consolidate the test results, generate test reports and perform the necessary analysis. Identification of the suite of test tools and test data required to support VV activities. Contribution to the inhouse development and validation of test tools and their maintenance. Support the acceptance of test tools test data provided by partners Verification and validation IVV of the integrated Ground Segment. Participation in relevant internal and external meetings. Regular review of documentation dealing with requirements, system concepts, architecture and design, technical analyses, to identify information of importance for test tools test data. Support for the preparation of documentation for system level reviews. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Experience in the verification and validation of large complex systems. Handson involvement in VV activities including generation of test plan, test specification, procedures and test reports. Experience with software specification, design and development and relevant standards. System requirements management and functionalarchitectural modelling, with support of tools e.g. DOORS. Good skills in C andor Java. Working with UNIX and Linux operating systems. Ability to maintain a system overview. You should have a systematic approach to the work, and be able to plan the work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks. Coordinate with OPS team leaders to ensure compliance with existing OPS workflows and processes as per Operations Management Plan OMP. Coordinate with IVV team to deliver as necessary validated operational scenarios for VV test cases performed and by IVV team. Coordinate the TRRTRB as needed Contribute to CCB maintaining as necessary the OPS Baseline and the Ops Prep WBS Coordinate interactions and support the OGS procurement teams providing a main point of contact in Ops Prep Team OPIT for PDAP subsegment. Participate as necessary to ARBs on OGS subsystems and joint ARBs with the satellite manufacturer. Support the OGS, MetopSG and LEOP reviews and provide support as Project Team to EPSSG System reviews Provide input for identification and monitoring of risks in the technical domain concerned with this service Provide input and support for anomalynone conformance investigation and resolution and if needed RFDRFW processing. Provide input to keep uptodate the System CORE model related to Operational activities, data flows and interfaces. Provide a single interface within OPIT for the management of the satellite and instrument characteristic databases SCDB and support FDF and PDAP team for their respective Databases. Support the Handover from PRD to OPS ensuring Operation Baseline Documentation and knowledge developed by the service team is properly transferred to operation department. Service Level Management tasks Planning, monitoring and control of the services to be provided Prioritise tasks in coordination with the EUMETSAT Technical Officer Participate in the regular anomaly review and change management boards Coordinate the service with other Service Providers Manage, supervise and monitor all the Contractors key persons assigned to the service Follow up, monitor and manage the execution of the activities and open actions and report to the TO on their progress status upon TOs request Provide monthly reports covering the service provision based on agreed set of metric, including, team activities, team composition, training, operational events Ensure the availability of the required manning levels at all times including ensuring adequate participation of the team members Maintain contingency plans for unscheduled staff absence in order to assure the required levels of service Liaise, organise and prepare meeting with the EUMETSAT Technical Officer Ensure compliance with staff qualifications and skills requirements including planning and monitoring of the training for all key persons and of the induction process of new key persons joining the team in agreement with the guidelines and working processes provided by the EUMETSAT Technical Officer Ensure that the administrative requirements necessary to provide the service are fulfilled Update the effort spent by the team in the EUMETSAT reporting tool RMF Coordinate with the Technical Officer planned absences, in order to ensure the service continuity.
