The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Research and development tasks in the area of AOCSGNC FD Attitude and Orbit Control Systems, Guidance Navigation and Control Flight Dynamics as enabler for future space missions Participation in a predevelopment project for GNC technologies for landing vehicles on nearEarth objects. The focus is put on imagebased navigation, agility, and artificial intelligence Collaboration in the integration phase of a complex satellite project in Earth observation. Definition, setup, trouble shooting, execution, evaluation, and documentation of simulations and closedlooptests with hardware and processorintheloop Support of the AOCSGNC design, analysis, and verification of satellite systems from the feasibility and concept phase to spacecraft operation in orbit. This includes AOCS model development, design and verification of estimation and control algorithms, and testing of algorithms using simulations with hardware andor processorintheloop Further development of the simulation and test infrastructure for the AOCSGNC FD development process. Requirements At least a Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering or comparable degree with focus on simulation and control technology Experience in simulation techniques with hardware and processorintheloop Very good knowledge of orbital mechanics and spacecraft attitude dynamics as well as orbitattitude determination and control of spacecraft Very good knowledge in electronics incl. embedded systems, system dynamics, signal processing, and control engineering Very good knowledge in software development with MatlabSimulink, CC, and preferably Python Good knowledge in system dynamics including multibody systems, signal processing, control engineering including robust and adaptive control techniques and preferably artificial intelligence German level at least business fluent English level at least business fluent Knowledge of French is an asset Team player with excellent communication skills Service and customer orientated person with high sense of responsibility High level of assertiveness.
