Tasks The role relate to the OPENS and Ground Segment Mission ControlCC GSMCCC Development activities, in the context of the EGOSCC Project. The main tasks to be accomplished by the service are Contribution to the technical requirements and to the design of the OPENS application GSMCCC preparation application. Contribution to the concepts and requirements for using the CCSDS CSTS Functional Resources model see SANA registry. Contribution to technical requirements and design for the EGOSCC activities in general. Development prototyping of selected components plugins. Contribution to peer reviews related to the GSMCCC application Definition and execution of the test and validation concepts and scenario. Identification of potential test and validation tools. Support of meetings and reviews of the GSMCCC project and EGOSCC project as necessary. Contribution to feedback to the OPEN and EGSCC frameworks. Contribution to the design of the OPEN framework Essential requirements The service shall be provided with the following expertise Excellent knowledge of the Java language, preferably with an official Oracle certification Concrete understanding of the principles of component based software engineering Good working knowledge of the following Java frameworks and development tools Eclipse RCP development, EMF, GIT Concrete Understanding of OSGi, Blueprint, Maven Good working knowledge of the EGSCC and OPEN frameworks Good working knowledge of the ESOC Ground Station monitoring and control The service shall be delivered with the ability to understand and accurately predict behavior of complex systems The service shall be wellorganized, with ability to prioritize and manage several activities in parallel The service shall be delivered with familiarity in continuous integration activities and tooling The service shall be delivered with concrete experience in working as part of a team The service shall be delivered with familiarity in the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS The service shall be delivered with knowledge of satellite or ground operations, or nonspace operational environments Other Information Start date is September 2018. The GSA Communications department is responsible for the information provision and dissemination, promotional activities, and outreach initiatives of the GSA. Among other things, the GSAs communication activities focus on the development and implementation of communication strategies and initiatives that support the objectives of four key areas of activity GSA Corporate Communications communicating information regarding the Agency in general and, specifically, its image, responsibilities, facilities, milestones and staff European GNSS service, applications and RD promotion promoting GNSS RD activities, achievements and other service and application related communications, in cooperation with the European Commission and in support of the GSA Market Development, Security and Exploitation Service Provision and Operations Departments Stakeholder Liaison and Communication communicating, providing relevant information and promoting relationshipbuilding with relevant external stakeholders Internal Communication communicating and establishing a consistent dialogue with GSA staff regarding the Agency, its actions, staff and milestones, as well as with regard to other relevant activities TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure a strong interinstitutional communication coordination role within, and on behalf of, the Agency Raise awareness of the GSA and its work amongst relevant EU institutional stakeholders Liaise with external stakeholders, representing the Agency as contact point at external eventsmeetings where
