It's official: The last US Airways flight with stops at key cities in the airline's history will start in Philadelphia on Friday, Oct. 16, and end there the next day. Flight 1939, named for the year 1939, when US Airways began as All American Aviation with airmail service in Western Pennsylvania and the Ohio River valley, is being planned as a festive farewell, with gatherings of employees ateach of four airportson the cross-country journey.
