This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. EPSSG System Planning Support 1513027 Job Description We are looking for an experienced System Planning Engineer for our customer EUMETSAT. The selected engineer will be working in the new EUMETSAT Polar System Second Generation programme EPSSG. This support role focus on the definition and maintenance of the development logic, schedule and subsystems interactions. The EPSSG system covers the space segment satellite and instruments, ground segment, satellite application facilities, launcher service and LEOP service, as well as the corresponding operations preparation activities. The main tasks are to be performed during phases B and C and include Maintain the system development logic and schedule in coordination with all partners and subsystems until handover to operations Identify all interactions between subsystems and partners, and associate them with main system development milestones and the program work breakdown structure Prepare and maintain Interactions Documents for partners, defining all interactions between subsystems, together with their need dates. Interactions will cover deliverables hardware, software, documentation, test data and tools, support and access.
