Mission Control System and Planning Engineer 2013031 Job Description We are looking for a Mission Control System and Planning Engineer for our customer EUMETSAT. You will join a team that supports the activities in the domain of Mission Planning and Schedule Execution Components for the MTG Programme. The activities will focus primarily in the IVV aspects IVV Activities support to the integration, verification and validation testing of Mission Planning and Schedule execution components review update of test specifications with respect to Mission Planning and Schedule execution aspects generation and maintenance of test procedures including their automation and test datasets for the Mission Planning and Schedule Execution components test campaigns MPS and Schedule execution test executions, TRRs, PTRs,TRBs, testing for correct implementation, etc. analysis of test results and the generation update of the VCD inputs and test report generation anomaly NCR process generation, analysis, discussion, participation to ARB meetings, testing for correct implementation, etc. installation and configuration of new deliveries System Architectural Design Support to the maintenance and evolution of the system level design of Mission Planning and Schedule Execution components within the scope of the Ground Segment General Participation to any necessary meetings technical reviews, scheduling meetings, progress meetings, coordination meetings, workshops, etc Generation and updating of technical documents and knowledge base information Required Skills and Experience A university degree, or equivalent, in a related discipline Domain Skills Experience minimum 5 years in the definition of software requirements, architectural design, implementation and maintenance of Mission Planning Schedule Execution Components in the context of space missions Experience in performing the scheduling tasks using the Mission Planning System of the Ground Segment for GEO andor LEO space missions Experience in performing schedule execution using a schedule execution component Software Integration, Verification Validation Skills Experience minimum 5 years in IVV integration, verification and validation activities, preferably for Mission Planning and Schedule Execution Components, following formal engineering processes. EPSSG System Planning Service 1913056 Job Description We are looking for a System Planning Engineer for our customer, EUMETSAT. You will focus on defining and maintaining the EPSSG system development logic, schedule, all subsystem interactions and to report system schedule changes. The EPSSG system covers the space segment satellite and instruments, ground segment, satellite application facilities SAFs, launcher service and LEOP service, as well as the corresponding Integration, Verification Validation IVV and operations preparation activities. Satellite development is carried out under ESA responsibility but must be coordinated with all other EUMETSAT developments, and all of its interactions with the rest of the system will be defined as part of this activity. The tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken during the EPSSG Phase C and Phase D will typically include the following Maintain the system development logic covering all system elements, up to the time of the handover of the last satellite to the Operations Department Maintain a detailed system development schedule in coordination with all subsystems and partners, together with a critical path analysis of each version of the schedule Identify all interactions between subsystems and partners, and associate them with main system development milestones and the program work breakdown structure Provide inputs to the sections of the System Development Plan concerning system development logic, schedule and interactions Prepare and maintain Interactions Documents for partners, defining all interactions between subsystems, together with their need dates.
