Embedded Realtime Systems Software Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this position, you will have the following responsibilities Transformation of System software SW requirements into detailed SW requirements Establish Design scheduling, IO, functional algorithms Implementation of SW requirements coding Analysis of implementation constraints memory size, CPU load, timing Execution of SW validation activities and generation of SW documentation according to ESA requirements Participation in technical reviews internal, customer Design of SW framework tasks according to requirements HWSW interface design interrupts, IO as well as HWSW integration execution HW SW Debugging Working according to ESA SW standards ECSSEuropean Cooperation for Space Standardization Configuration control of SW and validation elements Efficient execution of SW development process Contribution of ideas regarding continuous improvement of the SW development process Support of RD development providing information out of the SW process to support SW PA activities. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Mathematics, physics or engineering Embedded SW working with limited resources Realtime systems and operating systems RTEMS Programming language skills C, Assembler SPARC, ARM... Ability to understand HW datasheets Mastering the GNU compile environment Common SW development tools Eclipse, make, SVN, git, ... Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
