In the Engineering and Products entity, within the Mechanical Engineering Directorate, you will join the Design Office and will be in charge of performing detailed sizing analyses and will contribute to the Justification Dossier for thermal and fluid structures typical applications include propulsion reservoir, liquid expulsion device, capillary fluid loop, etc.. Within this scope, you will be in charge of Contributing to the design Defining the work plan for detailed fluid and thermal analyses Establishing the mathematical model Calculating all safety margins Drafting the detailed sizing note and contributing to the Justification Dossier Interfacing with the Designer and reporting on the analysis activities Taking part in upstream RD activities for different technologies. Over time, you will have the opportunity to progress to management positions for EngineeringThermofluidics product development within the department. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies Engineering 5year degree in Mechanical Engineering, andor FluidThermal mechanics, Initial experience in analyses and studies in the domain of fluid and thermal mechanics, Proficiency in the basics of space thermal and fluid mechanics, Knowledge of modelling methods isotherm nodes, finite differences, etc., And ideally IT knowledge Unix, Linux and programming skills Python, Awk, Fortran, Knowledge of satellite thermal control principles, Knowledge of modelling tools SYSTEMA and ESATAN TMG, Ability to summarise and make decisions meticulousness, Good interpersonal and communication skills written and oral and an autonomous approach, Ability to integrate into a team and adapt well, An advanced level of English and French. A vacancy for a Fluid and Thermal Product Development Engineer mf has opened up at Airbus Defence and Space at its Toulouse site. You will join the Thermal Product Eurostar CI Mechanism department and will work mainly on the research and development activities for the IRT project on set 2 Energy transportation. These themes are CapillaryMechanical Hybridisation Modelling transitory hybrid loops MiniMicro multisource capillary pumping systems stability of miniaturised capillary loops. The IRT project manager will steer these activities, in direct coordination with the Thermal engineering departments and RT in the Engineering and Products entity. Over time, you may progress to steering the RT thermalthermo fluidic activities. Your main tasks will include Conducting technological development activities associated with the themes Analysing the theoretical plans and modelling the thermo fluidic phenomena. Studying and overcoming technological barriers associated with the developments Designing technology demonstrators Performing experimental studies on thermo fluidic phenomena Focusing the thematic working plan in relation to the Airbus D S objectives, Implementing a technology watch for all the themes addressed within the IRT SoCool project, Summarising the progression of work for the RT and thermal departments operational teams for Airbus Defence and Space Toulouse. As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies Engineering degree or university equivalent 5year degree in the domain of fluid andor thermal mechanics a PhD in thermo fluidics or thermal engineering would be a plus, Initial experience or significant internship in fluid mechanics and thermal engineering, Knowledge of the spatial domain would be a plus, Knowledge of the behaviour of fluids in microgravity capillary phenomena, Knowledge of modelling thermal and fluid mechanics manual calculations and modelling tools on the market, Taste for developing innovative technologies and designing associated products, Ability to summarise and make decisions and meticulousness, Autonomy, Good interpersonal and communication skills written and oral, Ability to integrate within a team and adapt, An advanced level in English and a negotiation level in French.
