As part of its growth strategy the SCISYS Space Division has successfully secured contracts in the Earth observation downstream market and is currently bidding for additional work in a variety of markets. Given this overall trend within the space sector, it is an excellent opportunity for an Earth Observation and Remote Sensing specialist to join the team and be part of a growing and significant part of the business for SCISYS. SCISYS delivers a wide range of software services, solutions and consultancy to our institutional and commercial clients around the world. Developing robust, realworld software is our core business, as well as providing support services that create a real benefit to our customers. The Role The role of the Earth Observation Specialist is to support current and future research and development consultancy projects, as well as operational services and project delivery. The Earth Observation Specialist will also contribute to the identification and realisation of new business opportunities within the downstream EO applications domain by supporting the Business Development team in the preparation and submission of relevant proposals, as well as supporting meetings with prospective clients. As a result, the successful candidate will contribute to the entire lifecycle from concept generation to the realisation of delivery and thereby play a significant role in the business.
