Windows System Software Engineer Support 1413072 Job Description We are looking for a Windows System Software Engineer to work at the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites EUMETSAT. The selected engineer will work in the Computer and Storage Management Software Librarian Team within the Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division, upporting the complete system lifecycle of the computer infrastructure. As a member of the CSM Software Librarian team, the Consultant shall support the technical administration and maintenance of the various facility Intelbased computer hardware platforms, Windows operating systems and configurations of the software installations. The duties shall range from technical support to the continuous operation of the system, including problem analysis, investigation, resolution and definition of maintenance procedures, to the support of procurement of hardware, software and the coordination with external providers of maintenance services. Goal oriented attitude with a good level of communication skills enabling working effectively in a large integrated team distributed in different geographical locations. Conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner, shall be able to work calmly and correctly under stress and must be able to work with a minimum of supervision. Fluency in English.
