The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base including an understanding of embedded hardware platforms. The job includes all phases in design, from defining hardware architecture, to implementation and test, to support of spacecraft integration, in collaboration on a daily basis with other team members. Prior experience with high reliability designs is a must. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical power subsystem analysis, including power budgets for all mission phases Define subsystem architecture Specify power supply equipment batteries, solar panels, power conditioning and distribution units Collaborate on equipment selection including trade studies and make or buy decisions for onboard as well as ground support equipment Define and perform verification and validation approach of complete subsystem on testbenches.
