Specific Tasks As part of the team implementing the Luxembourg National Space programme, you will support the implementation of technical activities, maintain interfaces with the relevant Prime Contractors or subsystem responsible industryresearch institute for the assigned projects. You will also be involved in the System team of Small Satellite or Cubesat project in activities related to System tasks from early definition phase to implementation phase and launchoperations phase. In this context, you will maintain interfaces with the ESA technical specialists for adhoc support. The scope of work will include Support system and subsystem reviews of the assigned project. Follow up technical issues arising on the assigned projects and participate in risk reduction activities. Help defining operations and support the inorbit commissioning phase of the projects. Requirements You have a PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent. You have an expert knowledge of system and more specifically of avionics, software and communication subsystem through the complete lifecycle, including mission designoperations, systems design AIV and subsystem technologiesproducts. You have an expert knowledge of SC system and mission design, incl. system design modelling tools and Concurrent Engineering applied to space mission assessment and design. You possess a broad knowledge ofexperience in the practical application of tailored engineeringquality standards to Small Satellite, IOD missions and CubeSat projects would be an asset. You have a good knowledge and practice in the application of ESA SE Standards e.g. ECSSE10 series and SW engineering. Proficient in the English language spoken and written.

We are currently looking for two Data Processing Systems Engineers to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will offer support to the Data Processing Systems and Applications team for activities related to Ground Segment System Engineering Phase B to E for several new missions in preparation, and have the following responsibilities Data processing system engineering for supporting Integration, Verification Validation IVV activities at the level of test plan definition, test specification and test coordination Followup on the facility suppliers activities and Review of the data pack delivered for the reviews Support preparation of deliverables to the contractors and data pack for the OGS CDR and possibly other intermediate checkpoints Tests and acceptance phases preparation Contribute to the maintenance activities, including characterisation of system component behaviour against required performance, proposal and implementation of system alterations Contribute to the evolution activities, including conceptual design, requirements specification, functional modelling, system analysis, and concept development to support increased performance, rationalisation of components, and cost reduction Contribute to raising, processing and coordinating anomalies, their documentation, investigation, classification and resolutionmitigation, including participation in relevant Anomaly Review Boards. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the job profile Preparation of requirements, design, interfaces and testing documentation for data processing systems for Earth Observation missions experience on data processing for high data rates missions will be considered an asset including relation between requirements, ICDs, design and testing documentation L1L2 processing software for Earth Observation missions, either for operationsmaintenance or specification and development UNIXLinux operating systems IBM DOORS tool or an equivalent for requirements management Validating complex remote sensing data processing systems ECSS and CCSDS standards Knowledge andor experience of quality control, instrument calibration and IVV Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
