Based in Germany, Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency, is responsible for monitoring the weather and climate from space 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The key candidate for this role shall be responsible for the supervision, coordination and assessment of implementation for all IT security on operational systems. Working closely with other divisions, they shall also support security aspects for the development of new systems. Along with a university degree in a relevant subject, the key candidate shall have skillsexperience in each of the following areas ISOIEC 27001 and 27002 Security solutions and architectures for computer networks, computer systems and application software. Implementation and management of an Information Security Management System ISMS, including security software and tools. Performing security management in a 247 high availability operations environment Definition of securityrelated requirements Conducting security audits, ethical hacking on operational systems Candidates shall have proactive selfstarter approach with the ability to manage and prioritise their workload. They shall have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills with the ability to lead a small team. Good organisational skills is essential along with a methodical approach ensuring attention to detail.
