You will be assigned to the Software Systems Engineering Section within the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management. Responsibilities As Software System Engineer you will be assigned to the Electra Project where you will be required to monitor the design, the development, the verification and the maintenance of all the software elements of the Electra project. You will be joining the Mission Planning team in the Flight Operations Division and you will provide support mainly to the Low earth Orbit Programme Division. This Division is responsible for the development and procurement of the EPSSG ground segment, in which you will be supporting the procurement of the EPSSG Mission Planning System MPS, and EPSSG operations preparation activities starting a year or two before launch. Responsibilities Typical activities to be undertaken are Supporting the EPSSG ground segment team in the development and procurement of the MPS and any related tools Analysing and reviewing relevant EPSSG documentation, preparing technical notes and attending technical meetings Participating in reviews for the MPS and, when necessary, interfacing facilities and associated tools, throughout the procurement lifecycle Participating in MPS factory or onsite acceptance testing and related activities at facility and system level.
