Tasks The Key person shall support the design, prototyping, operational implementation and validation of the product algorithms. The work is carried out in a small project team consisting of relevant experts. The key person will also be involved in the analysis and resolution of anomalies relating to the product generation software. The tasks of the key person will typically include Maintenance and extension of a prototyping system, Implementation, possible optimisation and validation of new and updated algorithms, Acceptance and implementation of third party algorithm software into the prototyping system, Preparation of technical notes on implementation issues and user guides, installation notes for the prototyping system, Monitoring and operating the product generation facilities both for future ground segments or currently for the MSG MPEF, Visualisation and analysis of geophysical products.

Responsibilities The contractor will be assigned to the Flight Software Systems Section of the Software Systems Division and shall function as an integrated team member of the development team, in charge of the following initial tasks General Support to Software Validation Facilities SVF and Avionics Test Bench ATB infrastructure activities.
