The holder of this position is a key contributor in ensuring that the risks inherent in the management of a 50 spacecraft fleet are fully understood and managed appropriately. The contribution of the position is in two key areas 1. Suggestion of various ContingencyRestoration plans to account for possible spacecraft malfunctions 2. Analysis of possible plans for transfer of services from existing spacecraft to new spacecraft The role is cross disciplinary in nature, requiring you to balance technological, financial, contractual and regulatory factors, to find the best solution for SES and its customers. You will primarily focus on the European part of the fleet, however the role is global in nature and will include participation in projects outside of the European fleet.
