Telefonica in talks with TIM and Claro to buy Oi - report

The idea is to jointly buy the Brazilian operator and then distribute the assets. Telefonica may also try to reach an agreement only with TIM, since the advantages of the purchase for both are greater than in the case of America Movil, which recently acquired Nextel Brasil and its frequency spectrum.
