Polyester intermediate prices are now dropping in Asia, in line with a fall of crude oil prices since the beginning of July. Polyester fiber prices could now decline, on their turn. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
