Google says Fiber initiative could benefit from FCC oversight

Google may benefit from being regulated like a telecom. In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday, the company observed that Google Fiber should receive access to utility poles and utility infrastructure if the company is to be treated as a telecommunications company under Title II, according to the Wall Street Journal.
