Anoto and Polyvision Partner to Bring Collaborative, Digital Whiteboard to EMEA Education Market

LUND, Sweden & Genk, Belgium - January 25th 2016 - Anoto Group AB and Polyvision NV, a Steelcase company, today announced that they will expand upon their existing partnership to sell and distribute digital whiteboard and digital pen input solutions to education markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Under this agreement, Anoto will augment and strengthen its existing business with board fabricators in the EMEA region by consolidating Polyvision's patented CeramicSteel whiteboard technology into its product portfolio to offer a complete package of digital collaboration solutions for the classroom.

Oracle to hire 1,400 for cloud sales expansion in EMEA

(Telecompaper) Oracle has announced a Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) recruitment drive to hire 1,400 new cloud sales professionals. The new roles will be based in six locations: Amsterdam (The Netherlands); Cairo and Dubai (Middle East); Dublin (Ireland); Malaga (Spain) and Prague (Czech Republic). Oracle said it is looking for recruits with a range of experience from across the EMEA region, from highly motivated sales professionals with two to three years' experience to highly experienced senior sales professionals. As well as increasing its cloud sales workforce Oracle will be investing in two new cloud sales centres, in Amsterdam and Cairo, and new offices opening this year in Dubai, Dublin and Prague. Oracle's cloud technologies range from secure computing infrastructure to enterprise cloud applications. Over the past six months, Oracle said it added nearly 1,500 new software as a service (SaaS) customers and more than 2,100 platform as a service (PaaS) customers.

Experience Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably with 2 or more years in the satellite, media or telecommunications industries Master of Business Administration MBA or comparable degree Demonstrated past experience in business development, technological innovation, and implementation of complex projects in multicultural environments Thorough understanding of, and past experience in, the satellite, media and telecommunications market place Fluency in English, other languages being considered an asset Ability to communicate and drive results at all levels of the organisation Excellent Project Management skills with focus on execution and implementation Good analytical and communication presentation skills Be a proactive team player with strong relationship building qualities and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Understanding the market dynamics and technological drivers in the media, and the telecommunication industries, and help formulate the consequential innovation development strategies Ability to identify and effectively implement change and solve problems.
