ACS is looking for the Consultancy support in the field of system planning and coordination to support system development of the EPS second generation EPSSG. The tasks and responsibilities of the key person to be undertaken during the EPSSG Phase B and Phase C will typically include the following Maintain the system development logic covering all system elements, up to the time of the handover of the last satellite to the Operations Department Maintain a detailed system development schedule in coordination with all subsystems and partners, together with a critical path analysis of each version of the schedule Identify all interactions between subsystems and partners, and associate them with main system development milestones and the program work breakdown structure Provide inputs to the sections of the System Development Plan concerning system development logic, schedule and interactions Prepare and maintain Interactions Documents for partners, defining all interactions between subsystems, together with their need dates. Interactions will cover such areas as Deliverables hardware, software, databases, documentation, algorithms, test data sets, tools, configuration statuses, Support mutual review support, joint test and operational rehearsals preparation and execution, test data analyses, Access to services, sites, facilities, infrastructure and interfaces Manage the configuration of all schedule and Interactions Documents versions Follow up all subsystem developments and participate in any necessary meetings and reviews Track progress against agreed development plans and Interaction Documents and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with proposals to reduce the impact of any delays Provide regular summary reports on system development progress against the development schedule and the status of interactions SKILLS Mandatory University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent At least 5 years of experiencein the field of largescale system development Demonstrated ability to define system development logic and schedules and successfully implement them Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspects of system components and their development constraints Proficiency with MSProject The key person shall be able to analyse complex development schedules, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses and recommendations. He she shall be used to working in a rigorous manner with formal configuration management of schedule versions. The working language at EUMETSAT is English and fluency in English is required. System and Mechanical Support Engineer for ISS Columbus Infrastructure

Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the Human Spaceflight and Operations Directorate DHSO supporting the ISS. Overview The candidate shall provide engineering support to ESA project manager for system and mechanical aspects related to the Columbus infrastructure sustainability and evolution items as described below. This will include daytoday monitoring of the activities of the Industrial Contractors and review of technical documentation. Specific Work Package tasks will be Support the establishment of the baseline for new items, from requirements up to and including the end item definition. Review and approval of Industry Specification level for equipment of the ISS Columbus module, and for postISS elements as required by hierarchical superiors. Monitor industrial activities for the procurementdevelopment and integration, test, verification of new or recurrent Columbus System equipment from structural, mechanicalthermal and configuration system aspects. Monitor industrial activities for the procurementdevelopment of the Columbus Terminal hosting platform in coordination with the other involved disciplines ExtraVehicular Activities, Human Factor, Thermal Support the organisation and conduct of project reviews for system, structural, mechanical, budgets and configuration aspects. Support the resolution of anomalies from ground and onorbit activities in the system field. Support Engineering Control boards, MRBs, TRRPTRs, VCB in the system and mechanical area. Support the evaluation of Change Requests, Waivers and PIRNs in the system and mechanical area. Other duties within the post holders area of competence as may be required by the hierarchical superiors in support of their activities. Specific qualification requirements University degree preferably Masters in Engineering. A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience post Degree. A good experience and knowledge of structuralmechanicalconfiguration design, development, testing and verification of requirements for Human Spaceflight hardware. A good knowledge of implications at system level of structuralmechanicalconfiguration aspects. Ability to effectively work in a team environment with other ESA organisations like Columbus Operations Division, and Technical Directorate and with Industry and to follow a proactive attitude to solving problems and also to work independently. Ability to work and communicate effectively in English. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.
