Mission Analysis Engineer HERA

The key person will join our onsite Flight Dynamics team supporting on a daily basis our customer ESAESOC. Tasks Responsabilities The selected key person will be primarily assigned to the asteroid mission HERA to 65803Didymos. Some other activities on other Lunar Missions or on general Flight Dynamics operations activities may also be considered. The key person will join a team responsible of the following tasks not limited to Trajectory Optimisation for interplanetary transfer and the nearasteroid phase Navigation and Guidance, including Optical Navigation for Mission Analysis Concurrent Design Studies for space missions Mission Analysis Tools Development, environmental models, numerical integration techniques, local and global optimisation techniques and algorithms Support to project, scientists and industry, participation in reviews General Flight Dynamics operations engineering activities Profile Mandatory skills University degree in a relevant engineering field, astronomy, mathematics or physics Skills to apply their knowledge to develop solutions to technical mathematical and dynamical problems in cooperation with customers and other experts Ability to define, implement, validate and operate software which applies the above solutions using e.g. Unix andor Linux scripting languages, Fortran 77 andor 95, C Will to take operational responsibility in multidiscipline teams Fluency in English, both in speech and writing Coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields. Ability to work independently Additional skills which will be considered as an advantage Familiarity with the ESOC environment Familiarityexperience with Flight Dynamics operations engineering tasks Experience dealing with external interfaces Experience with Linux, network services and protocols, and system administration The ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously.

We are looking for a Multi Mission System Engineer. Under the direction of the CS GmbHs project manager the key person will be part of our back office team. These team activities are dedicated to Mission Control Systems MCS maintenance and development activities. Tasks Responsabilities The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks among others Contribute, consolidate EGOSMG System Level Requirement Specification Act as book captain of the EGOSMG System Level Requirement Specification document Contribute to the EGOSMG requirement compilation for the MOIIT Contribute to the EGOSMG system level DevOps specifications Contribute to the EGOSMG logical models and usage of MBSE technology in the EGOSMG specification In particular using the ESAAF and GSEF tools Consolidate the data pack for the EGOSMG System Concept Review planned for Q3 2020, process RIDs and update datapack post review Consolidate the data pack for the EGOSMG System Requirements Review planned for Q4 2020, process RIDs and update datapack post review Contribution to technical and project coordination meetings at ESOC or via VC In order to collect the necessary inputs. Profile Technical Skills and Experience Excellent knowledge of the System engineering and overall Ground Segment design Excellent knowledge of EGOS based ground segments and in particular the Monitoring and Control software including EGOSCC Others skills Proficiency in English language High level of flexibility Good organization skills, good communication skills Ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment.
