Good understanding of networks and services WAN, LAN, email, name server applications, etc., Good understanding of security architectures e.g. virtual private networks, strongauthentication mechanisms, intrusion detection and prevention, content inspection, firewall. Familiarity with the latest generation of network and security methodology and technologies and knowledge of the research and education networks. Familiarity with most relevant security standards, including ISO27000 and Common criteria. Familiarity with cloudbased service provisioning, virtualization platform Team working and proactive attitude to solving problems Relevant security or networking certifications for the scope of work package. Cisco certifications CCNA, CCDA, CCIE, CCNP are considered an asset.
