Business Development Director ICT is responsible for capturing the customer requirements, and designing and proposing robust, supportable and fit for purpose solutions and services that help shape our customers ICT architecture and strategy. This position supports the presales and sales activities translating business needs into highlevel solution designs for complex ICT environments and manages the delivery process. ResponsibilitiesDuties Support the Sales Management with the qualification of opportunities Capture the specific customer needs and design a robust, fit for purpose solutions Articulate features and benefits of complex designs, technologies and solutions to technical and nontechnical audience through professionally written submissions and orally delivered presentations Write and lead complex proposals covering both technical and commercial aspects Develop customer relationships at senior levels to position TPZVDs value propositions Present endtoend solutions to all stakeholders together with the associated commercial models Manage the delivery of ICT solutions and services Gain and maintain technical qualifications as appropriate to ensure partner levels with ICT and Cybersecurity vendors Gain and maintain a strong network of relationships across ICT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity marketplace Manage the communication and projects with technology partners QualificationsExperience University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering Essential Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience across the following areas 1. Server, Hyper Converged and Storage Infrastructure 2. Container technology and virtualization, SoftwareDefined Networking, SoftwareDefined Storage 3. Data Centre Networking and Security 4. Cloud Architecture 5. You will be responsible for expanding our business in particular to the established European space market, based on our existing products and services. You will work in close coordination with senior management in our delivery teams, to formulate the direction that each domain should take, based on your market insights. Together you will analyse our strengths and weaknesses, formulate strategies, engage potential clients, feedback market insights to the organization, develop capabilities and solutions, create marketing and sales material, and expand our business. In this role ability to work closely together with the technical presales teams is key. Communication, teamwork and collaboration is in focus! About you You know that delivery and sales must work closely together, because selling is a team effort and what has been sold also has to be delivered. You can bridge the two views of the world! You understand the funding channels within Europe and the business models of the market. You have an existing network at senior level into the main players in the European space markets.
