For one of our main customers ESAESAC, located in Madrid, Spain, we are currently looking for an Budget Expenditure Assistant to support the Financial Operations Division in the Directorate of Finance, Controlling and Information Technologies. Tasks and Responsibilities Processing request for the Commitment of Appropriations and claims for payment, including supplier invoices, petty cash, experts and consultant fees and ESAC trainees Processing all related financial transactions through the Agencys financial and budgetary accounting system Providing on request financial information as required on the execution of the budgets and the status of the accounts Preparing, dispatching and followingup tax claims, including requests for tax preexemptions. Reporting VAT returns to Accounting Division in HQ Interfacing with ESAC suppliers for finance related matters Liaising with Mission Desk on ticket cost queries Other ad hoc tasks related to financial or budget execution matters Control of bank account for direct debits and balance for replenishment. Experience and education University degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or Communications and minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in the field Familiarity with budgeting, accounting, procurements at ESA is an asset Experience in controlling andor management of activities and resources in aerospace industry. For some tasks knowledge of FinanceAccounting may be required Experience as a user of SAP and in particular ECC and SRM modules and familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications e.g. ESAp is an asset Familiarity with modern office automation tools and techniques, in particular Microsoft Office or equivalent, as well as customised database and software applications Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another official ESA language is an asset Capacity to identify priority actions and to handle high workload Reliability, commitment and initiative together with a wellbalanced autonomy in the execution of the required tasks Working knowledge of the esap system.
