You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience. You are details oriented. You have a first experience within space, nuclear or oil gas environment. You have a good understanding of review management Organisation of major review and standard to apply e.g. coming from ECSS Redaction of organisation note for review RID concept RIDs management You have a good understand of Configuration Customer Index Status List CISL and corresponding document for industry Status and Accounting Report SAR Change management evolution of contractual baseline You have a good understanding of AOB the difference between classified and unclassified documents as well as the way to handle those documents. Project Planning Engineer 1813027 Job Description We are looking for a Project Planning Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You will support the EPSSG Ground Segment Team or the Jason CS Project Team, as requested for planning and scheduling aspects including Maintain a detailed development logic and schedule of the EPSSG Ground Segment or JasonCS System and Ground Segment, as requested including all the subsystems and services, consistently with overall programme constraints, and in coordination with the relevant EUMETSAT teams, contractors and partners. ensuring that the corresponding development logic and schedule remains at all times consistent with programme constraints. performing a critical path analysis of each version of the schedule. Followup subsystems developments and participate in necessary meetings and reviews. Track progress against agreed development plans and Interaction Documents and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with the elaboration of proposals to reduce the impact of any delays. Provide inputs to the EPSSG Ground Segment or JasonCS System and Ground Segment, as requested Plans concerning the development logic, schedule and interactions. Provide regular summary reports on development progress against the development schedule and the status of interactions. Identify interactions between subsystems and partnerscontractors and associate them with main development milestones and work breakdown structure. Prepare and maintain Interactions Documents, defining interactions between subsystems, together with their need dates. Interactions will cover such areas as Deliverables hardware, software, databases, documentation, algorithms, test data sets, tools, configuration statuses Support mutual review support, joint test and operational rehearsals preparation and execution, test data analyses Access to services, sites, facilities, infrastructure and interfaces. Manage the configuration of EPSSG Ground Segment or JasonCS System and Ground Segment Schedule and Interactions Documents versions, as requested. Travel within Europe may have to be undertaken. Required Skills and Experience University degree At least 3 years experience performing project planning activities preferably on large and complex development projects in the aerospace or similar domain. Demonstrated ability to define system development logic, lifecycle and schedules and successfully implement them. Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspects of system components and their development constraints. Proficiency with MSProject. Analyse complex situations and development schedules, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses, recommendations and synthesis. Be able to fulfil the service autonomously, be able to plan hisher work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks and work in a rigorous way to agreed deadlines. Desirable Skills and Experience Certification in project management or in project management disciplines. Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and processes. Experience of Earth Observation systems andor Ground Segment development. Used to working in a rigorous manner with formal configuration management of schedule versions. Demonstrate good communication skills verbal and written and be a team player.
