This position could also be awarded on a fixed term contract with the duration of 12 months and possibilities of becoming permanent. Main responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities As Junior Software Developer you will be responsible for the following Software development to support Serco service contracts Software maintenance Software configuration control and Software installation kit creation and packaging Software validation Software anomaly investigation Technical and Project documentation review and editing Support during regular meetings and audit Generation of service and progress reports. Ideal candidate Requirements As a successful candidate you should bring the following technical skills and experience Java programming language PHP programming language Java web technologies Intermediate advanced user of Microsoft Office suite Office, Excel, Visio, Project Writing skills for issuing technical documentation as notes, minutes, requirements, work specifications, architectural design Intermediate Linux Operating System user Experience on CMDBuild model and HMI development. Furthermore, you should have knowledge of the following Anomaly management, System design and Software Validation activities best practice Software configuration control best practice Working experience on complex systems, in ground segments context. Preferable Good Knowledge of Drupal and or Joomla CMS. You should be fluent in English both written and spoken and possess good communications skills. Furthermore you should bring the ability of working in a team, achieving schedule and milestones such as the capacity of working under pressure.
