Your Challenge Given the expansion of our Ground Segment activities, we are looking for software engineers fm and architects fm with education in software engineering and experience with Java design and development. You will work on our site in Hoeilaart and be integrated in an existing team responsible for the development of an Internetbased Ground Segment application. Your Profile Education you have a university degree in software engineering or computer science 1 to 3 years experience in software design and development Essential skills Java J2EE design and development OS LINUX and WINDOWS Understanding of the software development lifecycle Desirable skills Hands on experience in backend application development, Hands on experience in JSPJSF development, Experience in Spring and Hibernate frameworks, Experience in SQL and relational databases Oracle 10g andor PostgreSQL, Experience in Web Services technology XML, REST, WSDL, SOAP, UDDI, etc., Languages you speak and write English. You will work on our site in Hoeilaart and perform the following tasks Lead a project team of 3 to 5 software engineers Contribute to the technical development and followup of the project Be the focal contact point for the customer and subcontractor organizations Report to the Business Unit management based in Hoeilaart. The project team will be integrated in a larger existing team responsible for the development of an Internetbased Ground Segment application. Your Profile Education you have a master degree in software engineering or computer science 5 years experience in software design and development Essential skills Leading and management of a small size software project Java EE design and development Software design using UML 2.0 Desirable skills Management of projects for the European Commission or European Space Agency ISO RMODP or ECSS standards Bid processes and offer preparation Experience in Web Services technology XML, REST, WSDL, SOAP, UDDI, etc. Experience in SQL and relational databases Oracle 10g andor PostgreSQL Languages you speak and write English.
