Conditions are forecast to be only marginally conducive for slow development of this disturbance over the next day or so as it moves west-northwestward. Strong upper-level winds are expected to limit development of the system today before the low merges with a cold front on Tuesday. There is a slight chance that the system could acquire some subtropical characteristics as it moves northeastward over the next day or so. On Tuesday, however, the disturbance is expected to merge with a cold front.
