A large area of disturbed weather centered several hundred miles south of the southern coast of Mexico is associated with a tropical wave. Upper-level winds could support some gradual development of this system starting late this week while the wave moves westward at about 15 mph well southwest of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
