Spun yarn prices have continued to rise in the past week in India, although fiber prices are currently declining. The poor quality of the new crop is forcing spinners in importing cotton from other origins, whereas cotton exports are struggling at the same time. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose.
