We are looking for a Missions Operations Engineer to support the Heliophysics Missions Operations Unit OPSOPS which encompasses Cluster II in extended routine and Solar Orbiter in cruise missions within the Solar System Exploration Missions Division but with the possibility of supporting other missions within this division. You will join a team that supports the Operations Supervision and Mission Planning, to assuming the responsibility and performing activities for additional subsystems or systems within the scope of general SOE services, including testing, validation and operation of the Mission Control System, Mission Planning System and Simulator. The general activities to be supported are depending on the mission Operations Supervision Anomaly Handling Task Mission Planning Tools, MIB and FOP Maintenance Validation and Deployment of Ground Systems updates Management and coordination of internal mission interfaces Spacecraft Performance Analysis and Reporting Phase Execution Eclipses Ops, Flyby, Remote Sensing Windows, etc. OnBoard Software Maintenance Support Service Mandatory Requirements A University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering science discipline As a minimum, 3 years of experience.
