ThirdParty Missions Management Support Engineer Job Description We are looking for a Management Support Engineer to support our customer ESA at their centre in Italy, near Rome. ESA uses its multimission ground systems to acquire, process, archive, and distribute data from satellites owned by other organisations. These are known as ThirdParty Missions TPM. The data from these missions is distributed under specific agreements with the owners andor operators of the mission, following established policies. In this role the selected candidate will be supporting ESAs TPM Mission Manager, managing the process for continuous optimisation between data offer and user needs. Your main tasks will include Monitor the evolution of the market and the dataservices costs capacity buy, coverage buy, information provision, hosted processing. Support the management of international agreements. Support the management of licenses and terms and conditions. Support the process for a continuous optimisation between data offer and user needs. Review of key documentation and web content e.g. Data Access Portfolio, etc Monitor the evolution of the offers on data and information NewSpace, preliminary added value, RT, etc.. Monitor the evolution of data access solutions and related user needs. Required Skills and Experience Degree in a relevant technical field such as Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Geosciences. At least 5 years of experience in a relevant position. Good knowledge in remote sensing and EO data and tools. Good knowledge of ThirdParty Missions and their operations. Excellent written and spoken English. Flexibility and proactivity. Good communication and presentation skills. For a new service position within flight dynamics division, we are searching for a flight dynamics authority to complement our international service team! You will support and execute operational tasks within the Test and Validation section for interplanetaryscience missions. This includes the validation of the operational software and the testing of the individual flight dynamics sub systems with respect to functionality and interfaces, both internal and external. Besides, you will contribute to training of the flight dynamics team to be prepared for critical mission phases. You will also contribute to system tests and mission simulation campaigns where the procedures and interfaces between spacecraft and ground stations, as well as between the various operations teams are tested and the full ground segment team is trained. Endtoend tests of the full chain from spacecraft via ground station, control system and flight dynamics system are performed during tracking campaigns to demonstrate successful orbit determination and the provision of pointing elements back to the ground station. In addition, you will specify and implement improvements and additions to existing Test and Validation software elements, typically on Linux workstations using C. The primary areas of responsibility will be the Test and Validation for AOCS related processes and products of Science Missions. You may also be requested to assume the responsibility and perform activities for additional services, missions and activities within the scope of general Flight Dynamics operations engineering services. The primary project will be related to JUICE. However, you may also be asked to support the SOLAR ORBITER, BEPICOLOMBO and EUCLID missions.
