DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Six-E was located near latitude 17.3 North, longitude 115.1 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 16 mph, and this general motion is expected for the next couple of days. Satellite wind data indicate that the maximum sustained winds have decreased near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the depression is forecast to decay into a post-tropical cyclone on Wednesday.
