DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone One-E was located near latitude 16.2 North, longitude 119.4 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h). A motion toward the west-northwest is expected by late afternoon, followed by a turn toward the west tonight. Maximum sustained winds have decreased near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the system is expected to dissipate by Monday tonight.
