For Astrium Space Transportation in Bremen within the area System Engineering Software Quality for the department QA Bremen Engineering Small Projects Software Avionics, PMPEEE we are looking for a Quality Assurance PMP Engineer mf. Your responsibilities will include Assuring the conformity of materials metalic and plastic material, mechanical parts and production, integration and verification processes with the customers, the companies and common standardised requirements. Assuring conformance to the customer requirements and to general company requirements, in particular EN91002009 Assuring that continuous improvement is implemented in projects, including following and collection of lessons learned Supporting improvement of the Astrium ST quality management system, including cooperation with other quality departments within Astrium PMP Tasks Evaluation of mechanical parts, materials and processes for their usability on spacecrafts Analysis of system specifications for requirements on mechanical parts, materials and processes Establishment of PMP specifications compliant with project requirements EstablishmentInitiation respectively supportrelease of qualification and test programs for mechanical parts, materials and processes Initiationevaluationanalysis of material test results Elaboration of new test methods for materials and processes for spacecraft application Analysis of specifications, standards, manufacturing and test specifications for compliance with project related requirements Evaluation of design proposals versus selection of mechanical parts, materials and processes Establishment of project related Preferred PMP lists based on available project requirements Establishment and release of Declared PMP lists Establishment and release of system PMP lists Prime function Implementation of the approval cycle for mechanical parts, materials and processes Definitioncheck of incoming inspection procedures Performance of PMP based design release AEN Support to analysis of problems and NRBs Maintenance and improvement of the product assurance knowhow concerning PMP Support to establishmentrelease of standards Support to establishment and actualisation of the PMP data base Enlargement of the knowledge baseline concerning new materials and technologies within and outside the organizational unit Contribution in efficiency aspects Procurement assurance Evaluation of acceptancecertification for manufacturers and suppliers Release of procurement orders BANF with the definition of required QS agreements for the supplied goods and the supplier Participation in root cause analysis and handling of nonconformances, preparation of waivers and deviations Supporting proposal activities, risk management including risk avoidance and mitigation Partizipation in the alert process Support to the establishment of PA plans Evaluation of offers Support and advise other disciplines Surveille and instruction of lower tier contractors concerning implementation of project related requirements on mechanical parts, materials and processes selection, application, qualification Support to studies, to audits at contractors We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in engineering or equivalent Several years of experience in quality management Material knowledge behaviour, treatment, manufacturing, joining, glueing A fluent negotiation level of German and English If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com. For Astrium in Bremen within the area Supply Quality for the department SE DM Quality Assur Inspection BRE we are looking for a Supply Quality Engineer fm Electronic Systems and Equipment. This position will be based in Bremen and will require business trips. MPCV on which the development has started is predicted to be part of the next American manned mission to the moon. For this project, we will need an additional supply quality engineer for electronic systems and equipment. Based on the customer and company product assurance requirements for subcontractors, and in accordance with the agreed processes you will Ensure the compliance of suppliers to product assurance requirements Establish and apply a supplierproduct quality surveillance plan Check the conformity of the delivered product Handle product nonconformances The objectives are an agreed supplier product assurance plan, quality monitoring plans and the on quality delivery of products. Further tasks will include Contributing to supplier capability assessment and supplier approval when required Reviewing and approving the supplier product assurance plan, documents and standards Ensuring the appropriate implementation of product assurance requirements by the supplier and its lowertier suppliers Following up and supporting equipment development through your participation in development reviews, production checks and boards, establishing and initiating a quality surveillance plan Following up equipment production, performing and adapting the quality surveillance plan, checking the conformity of the delivered product using production controls and product acceptance Monitoring supply quality using metrics and KPIs, evaluating supplier quality performance Ensuring the correct handling of product anomalies and nonconformances Performing supplier reviews or audits Ensuring the implementation of risk mitigation actions by suppliers Contributing to supply quality improvement activities More specifically, in order to ensure MPCV success it will be necessary to focus not only on suppliers, but also to work closely with Astrium engineering and other Astrium functions We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineering degree in electronics or similar, specialising in communicationpower electronics and some professional experience either in quality or engineering General experience with regards to the definition of requirements forassessment of flightworthiness would be a plus Knowledgeexperience in the fields of quality principles, quality standards regulations, supply quality and operations quality inspection Language skills negotiation level of English and German If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com. These systems, which were developed by Agricultural Research Service (ARS) scientist Doug Smith and others, are so effective that farmers who install them are eligible for financial assistance through USDA's Environmental Quality Incentives Program.
