Manager, Solution Architecture, Commercial Applications Luxembourg Betzdorf ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The incumbent, within the Commercial Applications team will play a critical role in ensuring the commercial application landscape is fit for purpose when it comes to the everchanging demands of the SES business. The incumbent will do this by architecting solutions following the SES architectural principals and existing solutions first, then going to market and implementing new solutions as needed. They would be responsible to oversee the implementation, where external support is needed, ensure any new applications or commercial functions are introduced seamlessly into the adaptable architecture aligned with the overall SES Enterprise Architecture strategy, and properly handed over to the established Solution Development team for continuous improvements. To be effective in this role, the incumbent must establish strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the consumers of the applications in scope, the vendors assisting SES in supporting them the SES management teams whose departments depend on the applications. Lastly, they must stay up to date on technology trends and SES business trends and recommend solutions where there is a match. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Supervise assigned staff, potentially including subordinate managers.
