Working with the SES groups Spacecraft Program Offices, the position involves overseeing multiple satellite programmes, ensuring SES SLs best interests are protected, reviewing and approving as appropriate milestone timelines to ensure that contractual and programmatic targets are met, and that required licences and insurances are maintained. The role will involve development of operational analyses to support the satellite procurement and investment process. Attendance at key spacecraft manufacturing program and launch vehicle provider meetings will be required design reviews, management meetings etc. The role will require a high level of interface with other SES group departments who support these various activities. Experience Qualifications Degree in a technical, project management or related field is required with a Masters degree in Economics, Mathematics or Physics Minimum of 10 years experience in the satellite aerospace andor telecom industry field Must have good interpersonal, verbal, written and presentational skills Must have the ability to interface effectively at various levels of the SES and contractor organisations An engineering or project management background, ideally having previously worked in the commercial space industry Available to travel up to 50 of the time.
