You have practical experience in performing Spacecraft Operations Ideally you have experience in managing a spacecraft constellation You have at least 6 years of experience in space segment operation You are organised, dynamic and proactive with good communication and diplomatic skills. Knowledge in Galileo programme is a nice to have You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable You have Galileo experience. Senior Engineer, Global Services Network Operations

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Senior Engineer, Network Operations plays a critical role in supporting the 247 shift of the SES Global Services Network Operations Center, ensuring end to end operational lifecycle of fixed data customer services and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer collaborates with operations, engineering, infrastructure, tools and customer facing organizations to ensure contracted SLAs are upheld and leaves SESs customers satisfied with Managed Services operations. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring Incident management and reporting process adherence and compliance as well as to mentor and train the support teams to the highest level to support multiple technologies and services in a consistent and measurable fashion. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Level3 equivalent support to shift teams in troubleshooting incidents by analyzing the troubleshooting data and providing experienced feedback on next actions before engaging next Level support Design and develop training and competency assessment in line with reporting manager towards the shift teams RF engineers to ensure each teams ability to support multiple technologies, processes and services are at par with Global Services standards Liaise with other technical teams to ensure all procedures, training, checklists, workarounds, etc. remain complete and relevant Liaise and maintain technical knowledge on par with external teams in IT, Gateway Services, Sales Engineering, Asset Management, Payload Management, and other level 3 teams as required to manage the tickets Create technical documentation to assist the NOC shift engineers with daily incident troubleshooting and resolution. Provide technical input to the Service Improvement team and lead the Problem Management initiative from within the NOC. Identify problems and liaise with the appropriate Engineering team to find appropriate and permanent solutions Document and maintain a lessonslearned database and ensure a constant culture of improvement. As an Electrical GSE Engineer Operations you will usually work in a small team that will carry out the EGSE activities for a satellite project within the AIT support function. The electrical ground test system EGSE Electrical Ground Support Equipment ensures the energy supply during the construction and test phase of a satellite and offers support by processing measurement data and telemetry, sending telecommunication commands as well as by developing and validating flight procedures.
