Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Providing support to ESA projects, including CDF activities, interface with the project team, interface if requested with the industrial team, participate in progress meetings and reviews, as requested by project work, and provide appropriate feedback on the achieved progress and discussions. Supporting the thermal control activities project support and RD activities of the Section in the area of hisher specialization. Building geometrical and thermal models, perform relevant analyses, evaluate critically the results and issue relevant documentation covering all work performed. Supporting thermal verification test campaigns for ongoing ESA projects by performingreviewing test procedures, test predictions and test correlations and attend the tests if required. Supporting ESA project reviews. Participating to European standardization activities and represent the Agency in relevant working groups and boards, if required. Making regular progress reports. Providing adequate documentation, covering all tasks above. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory PhD or MSc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent. Min. 4 years previous relevant work experience in the field. Extensive background and experience in thermal modelling and analysis as well as thermal spacecraft design and verification. Very good background and knowledge of spacecraft system aspects. Very good background and experience with the Agencys thermal analysis tools, e.g. ESATAN, ESARAD.
