Our client is looking for Mechanical Satellite AIT engineers to work in Holland on their Satellite Program. Your Tasks Island lead of a team of two engineers. Island planning, organization and control. Mechanical assembly and integration of satellite structural parts and subsystems. Requirements engineering. Test case definition. Test specification and procedure generation as well as test report generation. Delegated Quality Assurance tasks like e.g., Key Inspection Points, standard inspections, mating logs, asruns, procedure variations, NonConformance Reports, Problem Reports. Your Qualifications A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification. At least four years of experience in the satellite AIT or test field. Knowledge of ECSS Standards for Mechanical Engineering. Experience in working with mechanical tool kits and MGSE. Experience in mechanical assembly of satellite structures, including propulsion systems and RF would be desirable. High motivation and commitment to the project. Used to tough project targets and challenges. Welldeveloped communication skills and hands onmentality. Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time pressure. Fluency in spoken and written English.

Mechanical Systems Engineer

As part of launch preparation, control and operational activities at the Guiana Space Center for the Ariane, Soyuz and Vega launchers, you will be in charge of fluid and mechanical systems aspects, especially concerning mechanical subsystems, mainly for Ariane 5 Preparation of launch campaigns, in particular integration of specific launcher operational aspects preparation of operational procedures for the launcher and operating plans. Execution of operations during the launch campaign, in particular direct control of launcher operations. Analysis of checks carried out on the launcher and launch countdowns. Monitoring of launcherground system upgrades from the standpoint of operational interfaces, as well as the associated Ariane launch complex installations. These activities call on an array of mechanical and electromechanical techniques used in the aerospace industry, as well as knowledge of fluid, measurement and controlcommand systems. You will be working in a team of engineers, under the direction of a Section Head. The contract provides for an initial training period, for your gradual integration in operations involving launcher mechanical specialties, as well as handling the ground assistant function during launch campaigns. CANDIDATE PROFILE Holding a degree from an engineering school or equivalent French or European university, you are either starting your first job, or have already had an initial experience in this area. You should have a good understanding of general mechanics, or industrial engineering in general. Because this job encompasses operational responsibilities, it requires ability to analyze and synthesize information good organizational skills and a methodological approach ability to work in a team good relationship skills a high degree of availability ability to write easily. Because Arianespace is an international business, you should be comfortable working in both French and English. Fluency in a third European language would be an advantage. LOCATION Evry near Paris, with travel to Europe. You should also expect short assignments in Kourou, French Guiana.

For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Mechanical AIT Engineer for their location in the Brussels, Belgium, region. Its a small 40FTE organization which focusses on design, development, manufacturing and testing of high efficiency thermal control systems for spacecrafts and satellites. They are involved in both studies and running programmes as ATV, Herschel Planck and Smart1. Tasks and Responsibilities As a Mechanical AIT Engineer, you will be working in the AITteam and you will be responsible for the assembly, integration and testing of satellitespacecraft thermal control systems, specifically heat pipes and looped heat pipes.Further responsibilities will include Writing work instructions for assembly and integration of the systems components Writing test procedures, conducting tests and writing test reports Use of test equipment Perform Soldering, Crimping, Gluing etc. Selecting and designing new tooling for integration and test activities.
