Tasks Depending on your experience, ambition and ability you will take on one or more of a range of roles within our Mission Control System team Junior developer maintenance postdevelopment support onsite client support including simulation support, satellite launch and routine operations contribution to proposal writing business development support technical team leading management Test AIV. Qualifications You have a recent university degree in IT, physical sciences, mathematics, aerospace engineering or similar Bachelor, Master, PhD or equivalent. You are a proactive, independent problem solver yet also a great team player passionate about space open to new technologies strongly interested in software development, with good knowledge in C andor Java and familiar with working in a Linux environment fluent in English written spoken You thrive on solving complex tasks in a challenging environment and enjoy supporting your team colleagues. You are always trying to learn and improve your skills and abilities to the benefit of you and the team. You will be working as part of an international, dynamic and successful team on some of the most challenging and exciting Space projects in Europe. We are looking for two DV Cleared, keen and knowledgeable IT Engineers who would like to work in a fast paced, operational environment where they will be exposed to the challenges and opportunities afforded by working within the defence sector. Candidates will be representing the company and as such should be confident communicators with a desire to learn and quickly develop their skillset. A flexible approach is required as the role is multifaceted with time spent both at our Head Office in Alton and our client site in Farnborough. Ideally applicants should have a good education and a level of experience in all or most of the following areas Windows Server, Linux, Networking, Firewalls, Basic Scripting, Hardware and Virtual Servers.
